Spain requested to extradite a Venezuelan colonel suspected of crimes against humanity to Argentina

There is a historic opportunity for Venezuelan victims to move closer to justice after more than twelve years of waiting.

Spain is processing the extradition to Argentina of a former Venezuelan colonel accused in an investigation into crimes against humanity. InterJust, which represents the victims in the case in Argentina, calls on the Spanish authorities to grant the extradition and fully cooperate with the judicial process.

There must be no safe haven for those accused of international crimes.
